How to Cook pierogi
Boiling frozen pierogi
Boil 5 quarts of water
Add 2 teaspoons of salt
Place pierogi in boiling water
Once they float, set a timer for 2 minutes
After 2 minutes have passed, remove pierogi and place on a plate or tray
Keep them separated as they will stick together when hot and wet. Top them with your favorite toppings and enjoy!
Frying pierogi
Heat a saute pan on medium heat
Add butter or olive oil
Fry pierogi on each side until golden brown
Enjoy
optional toppings
For savory pierogi, top with sour cream, caramelized onions, and/or bacon bits
For dessert pierogi, top with sour cream or sweet cream

Pierogi Dough
Wheat flour, butter, salt, water
Potato & farmers cheese filling
Yukon gold potato, farmers cheese (2% milk), caramelized onion (onion & butter), salt, pepper
Sauerkraut & Mushroom filling
Sauerkraut, mushroom, caramelized onion (onion & butter), salt, pepper
chicken & beef filling
Chicken, beef, onion, carrot, leek, parsley root, all spice, bay leaf, salt, pepper
wild blueberry filling
Wild blueberry, sugar, potato starch, salt
